The position is full-time in Seaford with occasional site work across Victoria, offering a 38-hour week and a base salary around AUD 98,000 plus 12% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel fabrication and welding of steel components.
• Competent MIG/MAG welding with welded joints meeting drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Welding and assembling structural steel components as per drawings.
• Read engineering drawings, select welding parameters, and set up equipment.
• Inspect welds, perform finishing, and ensure compliance with specs.
• Follow safety policies and maintain organized, safe work area.
