Job summary

Johnson Controls Brisbane seeks an experienced HVAC Service Technician to service and maintain commercial HVAC systems at diverse sites in Windsor and the surrounding region. You’ll work across chillers, controls, and Building Management Systems with training and strong technical support to help you succeed.

This role offers ongoing development, exposure to advanced technologies, and clear pathways for advancement within a global leader in sustainable buildings.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions for customers.
• Perform scheduled preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Install, commission and optimise HVAC equipment and components.
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver outcomes.

In this role, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial sites, servicing and maintaining a broad range of HVAC equipment and systems. What You'll Be Doing

• Service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions for customers
• Perform scheduled preventative and reactive maintenance

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry and regulatory requirements

What You'll Bring

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent)
• Queensland Restricted Electrical Licence (minimum requirement)
• Previous experience in HVAC service, maintenance or repairs
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Current driver's licence
• Commitment to safety, quality, and professional workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
