Job summary

New Vision Fire Safety is a growing fire protection company delivering fire sprinkler and hydrant services across commercial, residential and industrial projects. We are seeking experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitters and motivated apprentices for a long-term career in fire protection.

This is a permanent opportunity with a strong backlog of work and a steady project pipeline. In this role you may run projects or manage sections of larger jobs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a fire sprinkler fitter or strong interest in starting an apprenticeship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Good communication with builders on site.
• Willingness to learn and follow installation practices.

Responsibilities

• Fire sprinkler rough-in and fit-off.
• Sprinkler installation and commissioning.
• Pressure testing and fault identification.
• Hydrant installation.
• Reading and working from plans and drawings.
• Coordinating with builders, site managers and other trades.
• Maintaining a safe, organised and productive work site.
• Completing work to a high standard, efficiently and neatly.

About the role

Depending on your experience, you may be responsible for running projects or managing sections of larger jobs. Your duties may include:

• Coordinating with builders, site managers and other trades
