Job summary

Thiess in Mackay, Australia, is seeking a Fire Services Technician to maintain fire suppression systems on our mining fleet across multiple sites. You will ensure systems stay in peak condition, prioritizing safety and efficiency while supporting cost-effective maintenance practices.

About the role

As a Thiess Fire Services Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining fire suppression systems on our significant mining fleet in Queensland.

These systems must always be in exceptional condition to protect our people and assets in the event of a machine fire. Your role will involve maintaining these systems to the highest standard while employing a cost-effective approach to maintenance activities. You will work across multiple sites, providing consistent quality work and building productive professional relationships with all site personnel.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain fire suppression systems to the highest standard.
• Work across multiple sites, providing consistent quality work.
