Job summary
Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Fire Technician for our Cairns team. In this hands-on role, you will maintain, service, fault-find, repair and install a broad range of fire protection systems across a diverse customer base, ensuring systems remain compliant, reliable and high-performing.
The role requires QBCC licence, current Queensland Electrical Licence, and proven experience with fire protection systems.
Qualifications
- Must hold QBCC licence and relevant industry qualifications.
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence.
- Experience servicing fire protection systems.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of WHS legislation and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Responsibilities
- Inspect sites and recommend fire protection solutions.
- Service, repair and troubleshoot fire protection systems.
- Carry out preventative maintenance per Australian Standards.
- Complete installations and system upgrades as required.
- Ensure all work complies with WHS requirements and safety standards.
