AESM is seeking an experienced Fire Technician (Projects) to join our Victoria-based team on a range of commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure projects. You will lead installation, commissioning and delivery of fire detection and alarm systems, working closely with Project Managers, clients and subcontractors to ensure safety and quality.

Ideally you have 5+ years in fire detection installation, hold an A-Grade Electrical Licence (preferred), and be adept at reading drawings, problem

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in fire detection installation and project works.
• A-Grade Electrical Licence (preferred).
• Cabling Registration/Licence (preferred).
• EWP Licence.
• Sound understanding of AS 1670.1 and AS 1670.4.
• Experience installing and commissioning fire detection and alarm systems.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
• Police and Working with Children Checks required.

Responsabilités

• Installation of fire detection, evacuation and warning systems across a variety of sites
• Delivery of project works in accordance with project specifications and Australian Standards
• Reading and interpreting electrical and fire services drawings
• Assisting with commissioning, testing and fault finding of fire systems
• Coordinating with project managers, clients and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes
• Completing project documentation, service reports and compliance records accurately and on time
• Maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety and safe systems of work
• Providing technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle
