Job summary

Department: Office of the CDIO – Parramatta NSW is seeking a FinOps Financial Analyst to drive cost analysis, forecasting and reporting, and optimise technology expenditure across the organisation.

You will deliver budgeting, variance reporting, governance, and meaningful financial insights to support decision-making, while collaborating with stakeholders and leveraging cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP. The role is permanent and full-time with flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in FinOps, financial analysis, budgeting or related role.
• Advanced Excel and BI tools for reporting and forecasting.
• Knowledge of cloud and ICT environments and cost governance.

Responsibilities

• Delivering cost analysis, forecasting, budgeting and variance reporting.
• Supporting FinOps governance, financial controls and best-practice processes.
• Analysing technology expenditure and identifying optimisation opportunities.
• Producing meaningful financial reports and insights to support decision-making.
