Tech Savvy Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking a Technology Finance Operations Specialist to support cloud financial reporting, governance, forecasting and cost optimisation in a large enterprise setup. You will work with application, technology and finance teams to enhance cloud cost transparency and OPEX management.

The role involves coordinating monthly OPEX reviews, producing FinOps metrics, and supporting a Python-based custom tool, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across technology,

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years' experience in Cloud FinOps, financial analysis, or IT operations.
• Exposure to cloud financials across AWS, Azure and/or OCI.
• Experience with reporting, forecasting, and OPEX analysis.
• Python exposure or Python-based reporting tools is highly desirable.
• Independent work capability within a complex enterprise.
• Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder coordination.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Based in Sydney or Melbourne or able to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly cloud financial reporting, forecasting and trend analysis.
• Prepare governance packs, FinOps metrics and management reporting.
• Coordinate monthly Cloud OPEX reviews with application and technology teams.
• Analyse cloud spend, forecasts, variances and identify cost optimisation opportunities.
• Track savings initiatives, remediation actions and stakeholder commitments.
• Support IOP planning and cloud financial analysis.
• Provide operational and reporting support for a Python-based custom tool.
