Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Finishes Foreman to join a prominent commercial builder on a major project in Sydney, overseeing finishes, defects and handover. This fast-paced role drives programme, quality and subcontractor performance through to completion.

The role requires coordinating multiple trades, managing defects and conducting site walks with consultants and client representatives, with a strong emphasis on safety and specification adherence.

Qualifications

Previous Finishes Foreman, Foreman or Site Manager experience on commercial construction projects.
Strong understanding of finishing trades and sequencing.
Proven experience managing defects and project close-out.
Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Available to commence immediately or at short notice.

Responsibilities

Manage all finishing trades on site.
Coordinate subcontractors and daily site activities.
Drive programme and milestone completion.
Manage defects, quality inspections and rectification works.
Conduct site walks with consultants and client representatives.
Ensure works are completed safely and to specification.
Support project handover activities.
