Job summary

The Star Sydney is seeking Food & Beverage Attendants for its fine dining restaurants and private gaming rooms. You will deliver world-class service, maintain knowledge of menus and promotions, and support a premium guest experience across venues such as Sokyo, Black Bar & Grill, Cucina Porto and more.

Applicants should have experience in a high-end restaurant, passion for exceptional service, and flexibility to cover venue hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-end restaurant with ability to articulate flavour profiles and recommend beverage pairings.
• Passion for delivering outstanding service and a memorable guest experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and flexible availability to meet venue hours.

Responsibilities

• Take orders accurately and efficiently, and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of the venue’s menu and current promotions including ingredients and preparation methods
• Anticipate guests needs to understand their preferences to provide personalised service and recommendations
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies and dietary needs to the kitchen
• Collaborate with your team to provide efficient and seamless service
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including setting up and breaking down of the dining area
