Job summary

Perigon Group is partnering with a global infrastructure client seeking a technically accomplished financial reporting specialist to lead statutory reporting and consolidation for the group. The role oversees consolidated accounts and month-end processes across multiple business units, with a focus on improving systems and processes.

The successful candidate will have experience in statutory reporting for a complex organisation and a background in capital-intensive industries such as

• Experience preparing or auditing consolidated accounts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee statutory reporting for the group, including consolidation of accounts.
• Manage financial reporting schedules across regions and oversee GL month-end activities (reconciliations, journals, reporting).
• Support budgets and forecasts and drive improvements in systems, processes and accounting best practice.
• Candidates with multi-national or capital-intensive industry experience will be highly regarded.

My client is a global infrastructure giant who are currently on a steep growth trajectory as they vertically integrate new business lines, with strong backing from their parent company, one of the few to do so in the current economic climate

The opportunity exists for a technically accomplished and hands on financial reporting specialist

This role will oversee statutory reporting requirements for the group including preparation of consolidated accounts, financial reporting management of financial reporting schedules to the region and oversight of GL management and month-end (reconciliations, journals, reporting) activities for a number of business units

You'll also support budget and forecasts and be accountable for ongoing improvements in systems, processes and accounting best practice

The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in a statutory reporting role for a complex, ideally multi-national business

Experience within a capital intensive industry (such as infrastructure or construction) will be highly regarded
