Job summary

Talent Web Recruitment is seeking a Financial Accountant for a 6-month contract based in Sydney, NSW. You will join a Financial Reporting team that owns accounts payable, reconciliations, operational finance controls and the reporting to internal leaders and external stakeholders.

You will help implement a new payments system and move it into business as usual, then keep improving how the function runs. If you enjoy finishing the month with clean numbers and streamlined processes, this role will

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or commerce with accounting focus.
• Experience in financial services or large corporate environments.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end financial operations including AP, intercompany invoicing and reconciliations.
• Maintain control environments with documented processes and reviews.
• Investigate issues and keep stakeholders informed.
• Support payments system implementation and transition to BAU.
• Contribute to process automation and continuous improvement.
