Automic Group in Sydney is seeking an Associate, Payment Operations for a 3-month contract to ensure accurate, timely and compliant payment processing. You will manage end-to-end payments, distributions and dividends, working with clients and internal teams to meet requirements while supporting process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in operations, payments, or financial administration.
• Advanced Excel skills and data reporting proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payment processing.

Responsibilities

• Process client payment activities – distributions, dividends, and related transactions – with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the setup of corporate actions, payment templates, reconciliations and DRP units.
• Liaise directly with clients and internal teams to ensure all payment requirements are understood.
• Assist with ATO and tax reporting (annual and quarterly submissions).
• Monitor workflow queues (JIRA) and support the broader team during busy periods.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency across Automic’s shared service function.
