Stewart Brown is seeking a seasoned Financial Management Accountant with strong residential aged care finance experience to join their advisory practice. You will work across multiple aged care providers, applying your expertise in financial management, reporting, analysis, modelling and project work.
The role offers hybrid flexibility and exposure to CFOs and senior finance teams, enabling broad professional growth within a leading specialist firm.
Not every finance role expands your horizons.
Some simply give you more of the same.
Stewart Brown offers something different.
Since 1939, Stewart Brown has built a reputation as one of Australia's leading specialist accounting and advisory firms. Their aged care expertise is well known across the sector, supporting providers through financial management, advisory services, reform, strategic planning and operational challenges.
As demand continues to grow, an exciting opportunity has emerged for a seasoned aged care Financial Management Accountant.
This isn't a traditional in-house accounting role, nor simply month end reporting.
It's an opportunity to apply your aged care financial accounting expertise across a variety of organisations, systems and business challenges.
You'll work alongside experienced Stewart Brown Partners, Directors and consulting professionals on financial management, reporting, analysis, modelling and project work.
You’ll partner directly with CFOs, executives and finance teams, helping organisations strengthen financial performance, improve processes and navigate an increasingly complex sector.
One week you might be supporting a provider through month-end and reporting requirements.
The next, working on forecasting models, financial analysis or broader finance projects.
Success in this role comes from being adaptable, commercially minded and comfortable working with different client environments.
You’ll enjoy variety while deepening your understanding of how different aged care providers operate.
CA or CPA qualified, or currently working towards completion.
This is an opportunity to join a firm that has earned its reputation through expertise, professionalism and trusted relationships.
You’ll enjoy hybrid flexibility, meaningful work across aged care providers, limited travel and excellent remuneration.
More importantly, you’ll broaden your experience well beyond a single organisation and work alongside recognised specialists in aged care finance and advisory.
Please only apply if you have hands-on aged care finance experience.
If you understand aged care finance, enjoy solving problems and want to apply your expertise across a broader range of organisations, we’d welcome a confidential conversation.
