Job summary

Hooker & Heijden in Melbourne is seeking an Associate to join its senior broking team, handling a portfolio of financial services clients and turning qualified leads into new business. This client-facing role works closely with the Managing Director and senior Brokers, with a clear path to more senior opportunities.

You will liaise with insurers in Australia and overseas, including the London market, contribute to CRM, data and product development, and may travel interstate and occasionally

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Financial Lines broking or placement.
• Degree in Law, Commerce or Finance (highly regarded).
• Technology, software or data experience (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of financial services clients, including advisers, advisory firms and fund managers.
• Converting prospects from marketing and partner channels into clients.
• Working with insurers in Australia and overseas, including the London market.
• Contributing to CRM, data and product development.
• Travelling interstate and occasionally overseas for clients and industry events.
