Job summary

Atlas Partners, a leading global creative brand agency, seeks a senior finance leader to drive APAC finance. Reporting to the Group CFO with a dotted line to the APAC MD, you’ll own numbers, present monthly accounts, and lead a small team across multiple entities.

You’ll manage budgets, forecasts, controls, project profitability, revenue recognition, and month-end close, while partnering with People and Operations on resourcing. Hybrid work with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified, currently a Financial Controller or senior Finance Manager.
• Experience in month-end, reporting, budgeting and forecasting in a multi-entity group.
• Experience partnering with an MD and holding budget holders to account.
• Experience across time zones; multi-country/multi-currency exposure is advantageous.
• Experience in agency, consulting or professional services is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance for the APAC region and present monthly accounts to the MD.
• Own budgets and forecasts, aligned to group templates and timetables.
• Review and strengthen financial controls.
• Analyze project profitability and burn-rate with pricing discussions with client leads.
• Partner with People and Operations on hiring, resourcing and utilisation.
• Lead and develop a small finance team.
• Revenue recognition on client projects and related costs.
• Manage month-end close and monthly management accounts across multiple entities.
• Oversee statutory, tax and audit with external advisers and group team.

The role

Reporting to the Group CFO, with a dotted line to the APAC Managing Director, you’ll lead finance for the APAC region. This is a hands-on role. You’ll own the numbers, present the monthly accounts with the MD, and lead a small team.

• Reviewing and strengthening financial controls
• Project profitability and burn-rate reviews, with robust pricing conversations with client leads
• Partnering with People and Operations on hiring, resourcing and utilisation
• Leading and developing a small team
• Revenue recognition on client projects, including associated costs
• Month-end close and monthly management accounts across multiple entities
• Statutory, tax and audit oversight with external advisers and the group team

About you

• CA or CPA qualified, currently a Financial Controller or senior Finance Manager
• Month-end, reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience in a multi-entity group
• Confident partnering with an MD and holding budget holders to account
• Autonomous and robust, and comfortable working across time zones
• Experience in a business where people bill time to projects (agency, consulting or professional services) is highly regarded
• Reporting into an overseas head office, or multi-country and multi-currency exposure, is an advantage
• Warm, curious and collaborative, with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach
