UnitingCare Queensland is seeking a Financial Capability Worker to join our Financial Resilience and Wellbeing Service in Rockhampton. The role focuses on delivering financial literacy education, supporting individuals and families through budgeting and informed money decisions, and co-leading group education activities in community settings.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Financial Literacy Skill Set, or willingness to obtain it within the first three months of employment.
• Diploma of Financial Counselling will be highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Deliver financial literacy education via workshops and information sessions, focusing on changing financial behaviours.
• Work with individuals to develop strategies for longer-term budgeting and informed choices.
• Develop and deliver tailored group education activities on financial literacy to empower communities.
• Work in a mobile capacity in the community, co-locating with organisations to improve client access.
• Contribute to community education initiatives raising awareness of financial wellbeing.
