Integrate Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Adviser specialising in life risk to manage an established portfolio of clients headed by a dedicated advice pod.
You will deliver structured annual reviews, assess existing cover, provide replacement advice where needed and guide clients through underwriting and claims with clear, compliant documentation. You’ll work with paraplanners to enhance efficiency and maintain a strong compliance standard.
For experienced Risk Advisers who genuinely enjoy life insurance advice and want to remain specialists in the space, this is an opportunity to do exactly that.
Our client is a specialist life insurance business focused purely on risk advice. With an extensive existing client portfolio, experienced leadership team and significant investment in technology and Adviser support, the business has built a model designed to allow Advisers to focus on clients and quality advice.
Unlike many Adviser roles, you won’t be expected to build your client base from cold contacts. You’ll step into an established portfolio of clients who already have cover in place, taking responsibility for their ongoing advice, annual reviews and changing insurance needs.
Working as part of a dedicated advice pod, you’ll manage ongoing relationships with an established portfolio of life insurance clients.
Your role will include:
You’ll work alongside a dedicated Paraplanner and Client Engagement Specialist, who will assist with meeting coordination, file preparation and document drafting, giving you greater capacity to focus on advice and client relationships. There is also a new business component to the position, with further detail provided during the interview process.
This opportunity would suit an Adviser who has built their career in life risk and wants to continue specialising in it, rather than feeling they need to move into holistic financial advice to progress.
You will ideally bring:
This is a little different from the traditional Adviser model.
You’ll have an established portfolio of clients, dedicated paraplanning and client engagement support, and access to technology and AI tools designed to reduce Adviser administration.
Most importantly, this is a business where life risk is the specialisation, not an add-on to holistic advice.
The package includes a competitive salary plus incentives based on experience, with continued professional development and the opportunity to work alongside experienced risk professionals who place a strong emphasis on technical quality.
If you’re an experienced Risk Adviser who enjoys the technical and relationship side of life insurance advice and wants to remain a specialist in the space, we’d love to hear from you.
