Job summary

HKS Financial Planning, based in Stones Corner, Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Risk Insurance Adviser to establish and lead the insurance advice division. You will inherit an almost ready client base with ongoing referrals and strong internal support, enabling immediate scale and recurring revenue.

You will review, tailor and deliver personal risk advice across Life, TPD, Trauma and Income Protection, while maintaining high compliance standards and cultivating long-term relationships.

HKS Financial Planning is a growing boutique financial planning firm specialising in retirement planning, wealth creation, superannuation, personal insurance and lending advice.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Risk Insurance Adviser to establish and lead our insurance advice division.

This is a rare opportunity to step into an established client base with immediate scale, recurring revenue and strong internal referral opportunities. Unlike many insurance adviser roles where you're expected to build a client book from scratch, you'll inherit an existing portfolio and work within a collaborative, highly respected advice business.

The Role

As the dedicated Risk Insurance Adviser, you will be responsible for managing and growing our existing insurance client base while delivering high-quality advice and exceptional client service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting insurance reviews for existing clients
• Developing and implementing personal insurance strategies
• Advising on Life, TPD, Trauma and Income Protection insurance
• Building and strengthening long-term client relationships
• Proactively identifying opportunities to improve client outcomesGenerating referrals and new business opportunities
• Growing and retaining the existing insurance portfolio
• Working closely with financial planners and support staff
• Maintaining high compliance and professional standards

This role offers significant autonomy while providing access to the support, resources and reputation of an established financial planning business.

• Relevant qualifications to provide personal risk insurance advice
• Experience using Xplan (highly regarded)
