Job summary

Cirql is seeking a Financial Accountant in Melbourne to support a high-growth digital marketplace. This temporary-to-permanent role offers day-to-day financial control, month-end close, and multi-entity statutory compliance with visa sponsorship for eligible Working Holiday visa holders.

You will work closely with the Financial Controller and CFO, manage ledgers, assist with budgeting, and leverage AI-enabled automation tools to streamline accounting routines in a fast-paced, scalable

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
CA/CPA status (or equivalent) desired.
Demonstrated experience in financial accounting and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end month-end and period-end close processes in Xero across multiple entities.
Ensure statutory and regulatory tax compliance including BAS/GST, payroll tax, and FBT with external advisors.
Supervise daily transactional processing and assist with accounts receivable and payroll runs.
Manage intercompany loan accounts, intercompany recharges, and eliminations.
Support FP&A with short-term cash flow tracking and budget variance analyses.
Leverage AI tools to streamline ledger reconciliations and routine accounting tasks.
Assist executive leadership with ad-hoc schedules and entity setups.
