SunPork Group is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Brisbane finance team at the Eagle Farm head office. This role supports financial reporting, compliance, and accounting functions across the group.

With at least two years' experience, you will work on month-end processes, budgeting, and external audit support, while developing towards CA/CPA qualification in a collaborative, multi-site agricultural business.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Studying towards CA or CPA qualification.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting requirements.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
• Experience with ERP or financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Pronto or NetSuite will be highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly financial and management reporting, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Maintain capital expenditure registers and monitor work-in-progress costs.
• Support consolidated financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist with BAS, FBT, payroll tax and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support external audits, ensuring accurate financial records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate financial information.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy and operational efficiencies.
