Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification (or nearing completion).
• 3-7 years' experience in financial accounting, audit or reporting roles.
• Experience within retail, FMCG, consumer products or other high-volume transaction environments will be highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent reconciliation, reporting and analytical skills.
• Previous exposure to ERP systems and large-scale finance environments.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Ownership of month-end reporting, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assisting with statutory accounts, audit requirements and compliance obligations.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of financial controls.
• Assisting with tax, GST and other corporate compliance requirements.
• Providing financial analysis and commercial insights to support business decision-making.
• Partnering with stakeholders across finance, retail operations and support functions.
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects.
• Supporting both internal and external audit activities.
