Job summary

Torrens University Australia is seeking a Finance professional to support month-end close, journal entries and reconciliations at our Surry Hills campus. You will work across banking, revenue, receivables and other financial statement line items as part of a results-driven team.

The role offers collaboration with Business Intelligence and other finance teams, exposure to process improvements, and a culture that values integrity and bold, innovative thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Accounting or a similar qualification.
• Experience in finance month-end close processes.
• CA or CPA designation would be an advantage.
• Advanced Excel would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of timely and accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assistance with supplementary monthly and quarterly close deliverables.
• Assistance with periodic internal and external audit requirements.
• Assistance with ad hoc financial requests as required.
• Adherence to internal control (SOX) requirements.
