They have experienced significant growth over recent years and are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team, initially on a 6-month fixed-term contract, and support the team through their reporting period.

The Role

As the Financial Accountant, you will report into a Senior Finance Manager, focusing on the following:

• Month-end ownership for multiple entities (journals, reconciliations etc.)
• Preparing financial statements
• Variance analysis and forecasting with commentary
• Assist with statutory account preparation and reporting
• Liaise with external auditors

Your Background

To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• CA qualification
• Strong experience in financial accounting (statutory reporting + month end), OR a First-Time Mover from audit
• Knowledge of statutory reporting (ASIC, APRA etc.)
• Financial Services experience is highly regarded
