Job summary

Fujifilm Australia is seeking a dynamic Financial Accountant to join our finance team in Sydney on a contract basis. The role focuses on reconciliation, invoicing, and general ledger tasks, supporting our multinational imaging business.

You should have around three years of accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and strong Excel and data-matching skills. The position offers a collaborative environment and flexible work practices.

Qualifications

• Proficient in complex reconciliations, data matching, and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile accounts; ensure timely payments to stakeholders within terms.
• Bank reconciliation across Fujifilm Australia entities with precise cash journal entries.
• General ledger reconciliations for customer accounts and prepaid expenses.
• Generate proforma invoices and credit notes as requested with accuracy.
• Maintain supply and surcharge accounts, including credit note generation.

Job Description

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Manage and Reconcile Accounts: Take charge of reconciling accounts, ensuring all payments to stakeholders are processed accurately and within terms.
• Bank Reconciliation: Maintain and reconcile bank accounts across all Fujifilm Australia entities, ensuring precise cash journal entries and timely updates.
• General Ledger Reconciliation: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of general ledger reconciliations, including various customer accounts and prepaid expenses.
• Generate Invoices and Credit Notes: Produce proforma invoices and credit notes promptly upon stakeholder request, maintaining high standards of accuracy.
• Maintain Supply and Surcharge Accounts: Handle reconciliation and credit note generation for supply and surcharge accounts.
