Job summary

Loam Bio is seeking a Finance Transformation & Systems Manager to lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our finance systems, automation environment and data architecture. The role focuses on transforming the Finance function through technology, AI, process redesign and better system integration.

You will drive KPIs around efficiency, data quality and control, while partnering with the CFO and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Substantial accounting or finance transformation experience.
• Experience designing or implementing finance technology solutions.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytics capability.
• Experience implementing automation, AI or data-driven finance processes.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Finance transformation roadmap with the CFO.
• Identify manual processes for automation or elimination.
• Redesign Finance workflows for efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
• Lead implementation of new Finance processes and operating models.
• Develop standardised Finance procedures and documentation.
• Establish measurable efficiency and quality improvements.
• Identify AI opportunities and design AI-assisted workflows.
• Develop automated processes reducing manual spreadsheet work.
• Evaluate AI technologies and governance around their use.
• Monitor effectiveness and accuracy of automated processes.
• Review Finance technology architecture and lead ERP initiatives.
• Improve data flows between Finance systems and other platforms.
• Develop scalable Finance data structures and reporting tooling.
• Create dashboards for management visibility and decision support.
• Develop financial models for strategic projects and scenarios.
• Assist CFO with analysis of new business models and markets.
• Design controls for new or automated Finance processes.
• Maintain process maps, control documentation and governance.
• Lead projects from design to implementation and provide training.
