Job summary

Ampcontrol is seeking a Finance Excellence, Automation & AI Lead to transform the Finance function through process excellence, automation, AI adoption and digital capability uplift. The role runs for 12 months, partnering with Finance, Digital and business leaders to reshape how Finance operates across the organisation.

The position can be based in Sydney or Tomago, with occasional travel to the Tomago Head Office.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading finance transformation and automation initiatives.
Ability to redesign end-to-end finance processes using process mapping.
Experience developing business cases, transformation roadmaps and benefits realisation.
Working knowledge of automation, AI-enabled solutions and enterprise finance systems.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and change management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the finance process excellence roadmap aligned to Ampcontrol's growth strategy.
Review, redesign and standardise end-to-end finance processes for efficiency and governance.
Build and deliver a portfolio of automation, workflow, reporting and reconciliation initiatives.
Develop the Finance AI roadmap and govern practical, well‑governed use cases.
Own the optimisation of D365 Finance & Operations and related data/workflow capabilities.
Lead cross-functional change from concept to adoption with coaching and training.
Partner with Finance, Digital, Risk and business leaders and report on progress and benefits.
