Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Finance Systems Transformation Lead (Oracle) in Melbourne to drive enhancements and governance for Oracle-based finance processes. You will partner with Finance, Technology and external vendors to deliver system improvements across multiple finance cycles.

The role focuses on chart of accounts design, data migrations, UAT, cutovers and continuous process optimisation to support acquisitions and corporate growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle Finance system enhancements, configuration and optimisation across the finance function.
• Support design and implementation of Chart of Accounts structures, cost centres, reporting hierarchies and governance within Oracle.
• Partner with Finance, Technology and external vendors to deliver system improvements and finance transformation projects.
• Lead the finance integration of newly acquired businesses, including system onboarding and mapping.
• Coordinate data migration, UAT, reconciliation and cutover activities for acquisitions and changes.
• Drive process improvements across Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay and FP&A cycles.
• Oversee month-end reporting and ensure timely, accurate information for management.
• Develop and maintain finance reporting structures, dashboards and management reporting packs.
• Act as liaison between Finance and Technology, translating business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve data quality and strengthen financial controls.

Finance Systems Transformation Lead (Oracle)

The Finance Systems Transformation Lead (Oracle) will be responsible for:

• Lead Oracle Finance system enhancements, configuration and optimisation initiatives across the finance function.
• Support the design and implementation of Chart of Accounts structures, cost centres, reporting hierarchies and governance frameworks within Oracle.
• Partner with Finance, Technology and external vendors to deliver system improvements, integrations and finance transformation projects.
• Lead the finance integration of newly acquired businesses, including system onboarding, chart of accounts mapping, reporting alignment and process standardisation.
• Coordinate data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), reconciliation and cutover activities for acquisitions and finance system changes.
• Drive process improvements across key finance cycles including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay and Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Oversee month-end reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is delivered to management and key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain finance reporting structures, dashboards and management reporting packs to support business decision-making.
• Act as the key liaison between Finance and Technology teams, translating business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve data quality and strengthen financial controls across the organisation.

A successful Finance Transformation Manager should have:
