Job summary

Police Bank is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to join the Finance team. You will become a trusted systems specialist, supporting finance systems, reporting, data management and process improvement across the Bank.

Working with the Finance Systems Manager and stakeholders, you’ll help ensure governance, data accuracy and efficient financial reporting, while driving system enhancements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Experience with finance systems, ERP or financial reporting systems.
• Solid understanding of accounting and finance processes.
• Experience analysing financial data, reporting and reconciliations.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to investigate system and data issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative approach across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support across finance systems.
• Support month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Investigate and resolve system and data issues.
• Manage user access, configurations and security controls.
• Support financial reporting, data analysis, reconciliations and data integrity.
• Work with Finance, Technology and Risk to improve processes and system performance.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Contribute to system upgrades, testing and implementation.
• Create and maintain documentation and procedures.
• Build knowledge of the Bank's finance systems landscape, including TechnologyOne.
