Thales's Applications and Database team seeks an experienced Systems Accountant to support and enhance IT-driven financial systems across the organisation. You will drive process improvements, manage the monthly close, and coordinate data extraction for compliance and performance measurement.

With 10+ years in Finance Systems and CPA/CA qualifications, you will work on Basware, Planning Analytics, and BI tools, while ensuring system integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in a Finance Systems role within a large, complex organisation.
• Undergraduate degree required; professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA/CA).
• Experience with ERP and BI tooling across financial modules and planning analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvements and automate key finance processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee monthly close and data extraction for compliance and performance metrics.
• Support and implement financial applications including Basware, Planning Analytics and BI tools.
• Coordinate system access reviews and ensure integrity of background integration accounting.
