At Acenda Group, everything we do is driven by a clear purpose: to help our customers and their families live, save and retire with confidence. We bring together some of Australia and New Zealand’s most trusted life insurance brands. With over 176 years of combined heritage and deep expertise across our local markets, our Group includes Acenda Life, Resolution Life Australasia, and Asteron Life New Zealand. Backed by the global strength of Nippon Life, we are one of the largest life insurance businesses across Australia and New Zealand. More than two million customers rely on us for life insurance, wealth protection and retirement solutions that support their confidence at every stage of life. We’re building an inclusive, dynamic and future focused business. Joining us means stepping into a period of integration and growth, where your work will help shape our future. If you’re energised by change and motivated by purpose, this is your moment to make an impact.

The Opportunity We are looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to join our Finance Systems team on a 3-month contract, supporting a major Oracle Fusion Source-to-Pay (S2P) implementation through go-live and the initial stabilisation period. Acting as the bridge between Finance, the business, and technical teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring the new S2P processes operate effectively from both a system and accounting perspective. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across finance transformation, system implementations, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement.

How will you make an impact?

Develop a strong understanding of the end-to-end Oracle Fusion Source-to-Pay process and associated accounting outcomes. Analyse purchasing, receipting, invoicing, payment, and accrual processes to ensure accurate financial reporting. Partner with business stakeholders to validate purchase order balances and resolve outstanding commitments. Investigate system and accounting issues, including accruals and transaction processing exceptions. Support Finance teams by validating new data attributes and ensuring successful integration into reporting and allocation processes. Assist with testing, defect resolution, process documentation, and go-live support activities. Work closely with Finance, Technology, and Project teams to deliver successful implementation and stabilisation outcomes.

About You You are a finance systems professional who enjoys translating business requirements into practical outcomes. Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment, you can quickly understand new processes, investigate issues, and build strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups. You enjoy the challenge of navigating change, balancing competing priorities, and helping teams adopt new systems and ways of working.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following: Experience working in finance systems, finance transformation, ERP implementation, or finance project environments. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, testing, or business change initiatives. Ability to investigate data, system, and accounting issues and work collaboratively to resolve them. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively across Finance, Technology, and business teams. A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach in a fast-moving environment. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Highly regarded: CA or CPA qualification. Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, particularly Source-to-Pay processes. Experience within life insurance or financial services environments. Exposure to finance transformation, mergers, acquisitions, or separation programs. Understanding of testing methodologies, controls, and process documentation.
