Job summary

Acenda Group is seeking a highly analytical HR Data & Analytics Specialist in Sydney to transform workforce data into actionable insights. You will engage senior stakeholders, tell data-driven stories, and influence workforce strategy through advanced reporting and dashboards.

You will partner with People & Culture, Finance and business leaders to standardize metrics, improve data quality, and drive automation and AI-enabled analytics across the function.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in workforce analytics, HR reporting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Experience presenting insights to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (including Workday) and payroll data.
  • Strong data governance and reporting accuracy across workforce data sources.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver workforce reporting, dashboards, and insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Analyse workforce trends and provide actionable recommendations on attrition, retention, diversity, recruitment, organisational effectiveness, and workforce planning.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leaders, translating complex data into clear and meaningful business outcomes.
  • Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting solutions.
  • Partner with People & Culture, Finance, and business leaders to ensure consistent workforce metrics and reporting methodologies.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality, governance, and reporting accuracy across workforce data sources.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI-enabled analytics, and innovative reporting solutions.
  • Build data literacy and analytical capability across the People & Culture team.
