Job summary

Acenda Group is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join our team in a hybrid Melbourne role. You will lead end-to-end regulatory reporting, transform and validate data, and support regulatory change initiatives to ensure accuracy and timeliness of submissions.

The role requires advanced SQL skills, strong data analysis and reconciliation capabilities, and excellent stakeholder engagement to support governance and compliance across the life insurance business.

Reporting to the Team Lead, you'll leverage your strong SQL, coding and analytical capabilities to transform and validate data, enhance reporting processes, implement controls and support regulatory change initiatives. This is an opportunity to combine your technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement skills in a role that directly supports the integrity, compliance and performance of the business.* Deliver end-to-end regulatory reporting and ensure all submissions are completed accurately and within required timeframes.* Extract, analyse, reconcile and validate complex data from multiple sources to support regulatory returns.* Utilise SQL and coding skills to automate, transform and improve reporting processes.* Design and implement reporting controls that strengthen data quality, governance and compliance outcomes.* Partner with stakeholders across the business to obtain data, resolve issues and communicate reporting outcomes.* Support the implementation of regulatory and legislative changes impacting reporting obligations.* Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase reporting efficiency, accuracy and scalability.**About You**You are a naturally curious and analytical professional who enjoys getting into the detail while maintaining a strong commercial perspective.
