Murrumbidgee Local Health District in Wagga Wagga is seeking an Administration Officer – Level 6 on a temporary part-time basis. The role develops finance staff through training, handles leases, salary packaging and Aged Care compliance while supporting the team.
You will work within MLHD's finance unit, perform monthly journals in the General Ledger (Oracle) and prepare financial reports, collaborating with Business Managers and external auditors.

This position is a training role with the aim of developing well qualified finance staff and meeting succession planning goals. A major part of the role will be spent on leases, salary packaging and Aged Care compliance and other accounting duties, freeing up staff members with excess workloads who are transitioning to other roles within MLHD.
The primary objective of the position is to closely perform the functions of a Trainee Accountant whilst contributing effectively to the operation of a team environment, and to allow other members within the team to take leave.
