Job summary

Resimac Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Finance Reporting Manager to join the Finance team. This senior, hands-on role owns group reporting, consolidations, statutory reporting and the annual report process, reporting to the Group Financial Controller.

You will lead ASX and regulatory reporting, manage external audits and drive automation and stronger controls across the finance function. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in financial reporting, CA or CPA qualification, Big 4 exposure

Qualifications

• 5+ years' relevant financial reporting experience
• CA or CPA qualification
• Big 4 audit experience, ideally ASX exposure
• Financial services experience desirable
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Interest in finance transformation and automation

Responsibilities

• Own half yearly and annual consolidated financial reporting across the Group.
• Lead the preparation of annual financial statements and support ASX and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Manage the external audit process, including timelines, requests and issue resolution.
• Provide technical accounting advice and ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Interpret complex accounting standards and prepare accounting policies and technical position papers.
• Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations and key accounting judgements.
• Partner with Treasury and other areas of the business on accounting matters associated with funding structures and intercompany transactions.
• Drive improvements to reporting, consolidation and reconciliation processes, with a focus on automation.
• Provide accounting input into strategic transactions including M&A activity, capital raisings and new product structures.
