Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance or business is required.
• CA/CPA qualification or progress towards is preferred.
• Experience in financial accounting is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial accounting and reporting support, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and prompt resolution of system issues.
• Partner with shared services providers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial services.
• Assist with preparation of statutory financial reports in line with reporting requirements and deadlines.
• Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor, analyse, and maintain financial systems and databases to generate accurate, insightful reports for stakeholders.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial governance by identifying risks and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and audit requirements.
• Provide financial support and accounting advice to the business to ensure financial data is incorporated into the Department's financial statements.
