Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Process Optimisation Specialist to modernise finance operations in a six-month max-term engagement. You will work with the Financial Controller to streamline processes, drive efficiencies, and implement automation across finance workflows.

Ideal candidates hold a Finance-related Bachelor's degree, are pursuing CPA or equivalent, and have proven experience in aged care billing, revenue management and finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
• Currently completing CPA or an equivalent professional qualification
• Strong experience in aged care billing, revenue management and finance operations
• Previous experience delivering finance process improvement or transformation initiatives
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify opportunities for operational efficiency

Responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise finance processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and performance
• Identify and implement automation opportunities across financial workflows and reporting processes
• Support finance transformation projects, system enhancements and process improvement initiatives
• Identify opportunities to standardise, automate or eliminate manual activities using existing systems, Excel, Power Query, workflow tools, reconciliation technology and AI-enabled tools
• Develop and document best-practice financial processes, controls and operating procedures
• Partner with stakeholders to support change management, training and adoption of new ways of working
