Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking a Senior Advisor - Finance Policy and Learning to lead a major uplift of Finance policy, guidance and the learning environment. The role combines finance expertise with writing, content design and learning development across BCE offices and schools.

You will redesign the end-to-end Finance information landscape, ensuring accuracy, clarity and practical application for diverse audiences through structured governance and sustainable document management.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Finance processes, controls and operational environments.
• Experience writing or redesigning policies, procedures and guidance.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, usable content for varied audiences.
• Experience organizing large volumes of reference material into coherent document suites and user pathways.
• Capability in learning needs analysis and instructional design or development of practical training resources.

Responsibilities

• Review and catalogue existing Finance policies, procedures, guidance, training resources and SharePoint content.
• Identify duplication, gaps and outdated content to simplify user experience.
• Rewrite and reorganise priority Finance reference material with clear language.
• Design a logical Finance information architecture separating policy from procedures and learning content.
• Develop audience-based learning pathways, learner guides, scripts, storyboards and micro-learning resources.
• Plan consultation, user testing, quality assurance, implementation and adoption activities.
