Job summary

The Australian Catholic University is seeking a Finance & Planning Business Partner in Australia to support financial insights, planning and strategic alignment with ACU’s Vision 2033.

You will collaborate with the Finance & Planning Directorate and liaise across faculties and portfolios to drive financial sustainability, budgeting decisions and actionable insights for university leadership. Hybrid work is available from North Sydney or Melbourne campuses.

About The Role

Operating within Financial Corporate Services, the Finance & Planning Business Partner will operate within the Finance & Planning Directorate and work collaboratively with the Professional Service Hub providing designated faculties and corporate portfolios with sound financial insights, decision making support and strong strategic alignment to successfully meet the goals of ACU’s Vision 2033 Plan. The position is required to have a deep understanding of their stakeholder’s financial, planning and business operations and act as the liaison between the function and the operational business units whilst leveraging high level expertise to contribute to the overall financial sustainability of the university. The Finance & Planning Business Partner plays a key role in fostering collaboration, translating financial data into actionable insights, contributing to key financial and budgetary decision making and ensuring planning and strategies align with the broader ACU business goals.

• Total remuneration valued to $160,162 - $170,900 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $135,360 - $144,538 (pro rata) pa (HEW 9), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
• 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
• Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
