Job summary

Golden Apple Super Store - IGA Leeton is seeking an experienced Finance & Payroll Officer to join our team. This hands-on role covers accounts payable, weekly payroll, reconciliations and financial reporting to ensure accurate records and compliance.

You will manage BAS and payroll compliance, maintain records, and work with our small family-run business to support daily operations. Applicants should have strong Excel skills and experience in accounting software, with attention to detail and the

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar finance, payroll or accounts role.
• Strong skills in reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll and financial reporting.
• Experience with BAS, GST, FBT and payroll compliance.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable including invoice processing and payments.
• Perform regular bank and internal account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Coordinate insurance matters, including quotes and policy finalisation.
• Process weekly payroll and maintain payroll records.
• Manage PAYG withholding, STP, superannuation and payroll tax.
• Ensure payroll reporting and compliance requirements are met.
• Prepare and lodge BAS and other reporting obligations.
