Job summary

Randstad Pty in Adelaide's inner-west is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to report directly to the CEO and lead a diverse team of up to 10 staff. This hands-on role oversees financial sustainability and HR while driving operational excellence.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in finance, a relevant degree, and ideally CA/CPA qualifications. A collaborative, proactive leader is sought for a stable, office-based environment with some flexibility.

About the role
The Finance & Operations Manager will take on a broad, highly visible position reporting directly to the CEO. This is a hands‑on role requiring a leader who is comfortable "rolling up their sleeves" and getting into the operational details of the business. You will oversee financial sustainability and human resources while directly leading a diverse middle‑management team of up to 10 staff members.

About you
Demonstrated experience with the following duties will benefit your success:

• Hands‑on financial management, reporting, and systems development.
• Managing HR systems, compliance, recruitment, and employee relations.
• Guiding an upcoming end-to-end ERP system transition.
• Managing tax incentives, government grants, and R&D funding.
• Reviewing business contracts, insurances, and managing risk.
• Collaborating with external accountants to advise on strategic growth.

Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, or a related discipline are essential, whilst CA/CPA qualifications are highly desirable. You will possess a fun, friendly character, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to be an active part of a close‑knit team.
