Anglican Diocesan Services in Canberra is seeking a Group Manager Finance Operations to lead accurate, timely finance services across the Diocese and its entities. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee accounting, treasury, taxation, audits, systems and internal controls, driving improvements and strategic financial stewardship.

• Senior leadership across financial accounting, financial control and transactional finance.
• Experience delivering responsive operational services in multi-entity not-for-profit environments.
• Strong expertise in Australian accounting standards, statutory reporting and month-end processes.
• Experience with governance, internal controls, risk management and taxation compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead month-end and year-end close, statutory reporting and balance sheet integrity across entities.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and transactional finance with clear service standards.
• Strengthen financial controls, policies and risk management practices.
• Coordinate external audits, statutory reporting and taxation compliance (GST, FBT, payroll tax).
• Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity and treasury activities.
• Lead, mentor and develop finance staff in a collaborative team.
• Drive finance systems improvements, automation and process standardisation while ensuring data integrity and security.
• Prepare financial reports and advice for executives, the Board and governance committees.
