Anglican Diocese of Grafton is seeking an experienced financial leader to head the Diocesan finance function. The role focuses on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial stewardship across parishes, schools and agencies.

You will lead a small finance team, collaborate with regulators, auditors and insurers, and ensure robust governance and reporting to support mission-driven outcomes.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline.
• Experience leading finance teams.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cashflow and financial reporting.
• Experience with audits, compliance and governance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic financial leadership and governance for the Diocese.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Manage and develop the finance team.
• Oversee accounting, payroll and financial operations; banking and treasury.
• Coordinate risk management and insurance administration.
• Oversee audits, statutory reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial systems and reporting.
