Job summary

Compas is seeking an APS4 Finance Officer to support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoice processing and reconciliations with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC6. The 3-month contract may extend for two further 3-month periods, offering flexible working arrangements across Australia.

Location options include Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, with home-based work possible and occasional office attendance as required by operations. Apply by 27 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience using SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC6 in financial processing.
• Experience processing invoices, payments and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word for finance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile invoices, payments and credit card transactions with accuracy.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities and follow up overdue payments.
• Respond to finance enquiries and liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support audits, SOPs and system testing; participate in process improvements.
