Job summary

Lawson Elliott Recruitment is partnering with an ASX-listed organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Officer as the business grows and implements SAP S/4HANA. You will own the accounts payable function and guide the team through the transition, ensuring day-to-day AP runs smoothly.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will handle supplier invoices, payments, reconciliations and month-end tasks, while supporting process improvements and user training for SAP S/4HANA.

Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA experience is required.
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices and payments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial information.
• Good communication skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach to identify issues and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and purchase orders.
• Prepare and process regular supplier payments (EFT, BPAY, international).
• Resolve invoice, payment and accounts payable queries.
• Reconcile supplier statements and accounts.
• Assist with month end and year end tasks.
• Maintain accurate supplier records and accounts payable information.
• Prepare accounts payable reports.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation and provide user guidance.
