Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) is seeking a financially minded individual to join the Finance & Digital division in Brisbane. You will support key financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable, journals, reconciliations, and purchase orders, while ensuring accurate records and strong internal controls.

You will help manage bank guarantees, corporate card reconciliations, and cost centre reporting, contributing to timely financial information and statutory reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Foundational finance knowledge or experience with financial administration, purchasing, or invoicing is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality customer service and build stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial data management.

Aufgaben

• Support accounts payable and receivable processing, journals, prepayments, accruals, reconciliations, and purchase orders.
• Maintain records for bank guarantees and other securities; coordinate receipt and return.
• Assist with corporate card reconciliations and cost centre management.
• Respond to finance enquiries via shared mailbox with timely, high-quality support.
• Compile financial information and support statutory reporting and open PO reporting.
