Job summary

Richard Lloyd Recruitment in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a hands-on Finance Officer for a 6-month contract in a small finance team within a mid-sized not-for-profit. The role covers Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations and month-end processes, four days per week with one day remote.

The ideal candidate will have transactional processing experience in AP/AR, the ability to work independently, and availability on short notice.

• Experience in transactional processing within Accounts Payable/Receivable.
• Month-end journals and reconciliations experience preferred.
• Available to start with short notice (1 week or less).

CBD based, 1 day/week WFH, paying $40-45/hr + Super for a 3-month temp role

Company Background

Our client is a growing NFP with a fantastic reputation in the market. They take a person-centered approach their operations and with a passionate and talented team they sport very strong employee retention.

They offer one day a week working from home with all employees WFH on Fridays.

They are currently looking for a Finance Officer to cover personal leave for a 3-month period.

The Role

This Finance Officer position is a 6-month contract role, working 4 days per week. This is a broad role in a small finance team for a hands‑on Junior accountant. Your duties will include:

• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Bank reconciliations
• Month end journals

Your Background

To be considered for this Finance Officer position, you will have prior experience working in an Accounts Clerk, Assistant Accountant, or Finance Officer position which includes transactional processing as well as month end.

Our client needs someone who is available to start on one week’s notice or less.
