Job summary

Scentre Group is seeking a Finance Manager – Sustainability Reporting to lead a team within the Finance function, delivering robust sustainability and climate reporting across the business, including governance and assurance.

You will translate sustainability data into financial outcomes, prepare the annual Sustainability Report, draft board papers, and coordinate emissions reporting (Scope 1-3) for regulatory obligations and investor confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience in sustainability reporting and financial reporting.
• Ability to work with auditors and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting.
• Strong understanding of climate-related disclosures and ESG obligations.

Responsibilities

• Translate sustainability and climate data into financial outcomes for decision-ready reporting across the business.
• Support the Senior Manager in preparing the annual Sustainability Report for inclusion in the Annual Report.
• Draft Board papers for Risk & Sustainability and Audit & Finance Committees.
• Lead Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions reporting and data preparation for ASRS and NGER compliance.
• Develop climate resilience modelling to assess scenarios and cash flow impacts.
• Partner with Finance and Operations to embed climate risk into planning and capital decisions.
• Maintain Basis of Preparation documentation and support external assurance activities.
• Lead ESG reporting system enhancements to improve data quality and reporting capability.
• Manage benchmarking submissions (e.g. NGER, ISS, MSCI, CDP, GRESB) and investor inquiries
