Job summary

Coco Republic is seeking a Finance Manager to join the Finance team at our Alexandria Head Office on a 12 month fixed term maternity leave contract. You will lead month-end close, prepare statutory financial statements, manage audits and tax compliance, and drive improvements across finance processes.

You will partner with stakeholders, provide technical accounting guidance, and develop junior staff while ensuring accurate reporting under Australian accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA or CPA with strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge.
• Experience preparing statutory/general-purpose financial statements.
• Confident in month-end close, reconciliations, audits and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close with journals, accruals, reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare management reporting, balance sheet analysis and notes.
• Coordinate external audits and GST/BAS compliance.
• Advise on leases, goodwill, fixed assets, inventory and revenue.
• Drive process improvements and internal controls across finance.
