Ricoh Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to manage end-to-end financial accounting and reporting for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, ensuring IFRS compliance and accurate financial results.

You will partner with internal and regional stakeholders, prepare reports and dashboards, support audits, and contribute to process improvements in a technology-driven environment.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified.
• 3–4+ years’ experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Australian tax (GST, FBT, Income Tax).
• Proactive, detail-oriented and solutions-focused.
• Strong communicator and collaborative team player.
• Technology industry experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, including journals, accruals, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity, including intercompany balances and complex reconciliations.
• Account for payroll, commissions, bonuses, leave provisions and IFRS16 leases.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards and commentary for stakeholders.
• Review P&L, balance sheet and cash flow results.
• Support tax, statutory reporting and audit processes (ATO, APRA, ABS).
• Approve payments within delegated authority.
• Contribute to improving financial controls, policies and processes.
